CARTERTON NOTES
Mr. Roderick M'Donald, who left some months ago on a visit to Scotland, returned to theWairarapa' on. Friday last after an enjoyable trip. Tho County Council elections, are due to take place next month. In connection with the Wairarapa South County Council it is interesting to note that thero aro several councillors associated with that body that have 6omo lengthy service to their credit. Councillor Geo; Stevens has represented' the ratepayers for twenty-fivo yoars, Councillor T. V. Moore, twenty yoars. and Councillor W. Perry (chairman), thirteen years. The many friends of Mr. W. Graham,. Government Dairy Inspector, of tho Wftirarapa, whoso health has been indifferent for eome considerable time past, will regret .to hear that ho has found it necessary-to enter the South Wairarapa Hospital at Greytowu. Mr. B. A. ICing, of Caiterton, was the successful tenderer to additions. to the ■parkvalo Dairy Company's factory near Carterton.
