CAMP NOTES
DISTRICT COURT-MARTIAL. Three- more soldiers at Trentham Camp have been convictod by District Courtmartial of disobeying' the lawful commands given by their superior officers, and have been sentenced to iraprisonment with hard labour for two years. The names of tho men bo sentenced are:— 04,856 Pte. M. O'Brien, Trentham Details; 64,849 Ptc. J. W. Rogers, Trentham Details; 62,718 Pte. J. A. Brailsford, Trentham Details.
The following temporary appointments have been approvod by the Camp Commandant at Trentham:—Headquarters Staff (Musketry)i.-Sergt, L. J. Comrie, to be sergeant-instructor; Cpls. F. E. Hankinson, L. B. Davies, J. Liddle, J. Chatfield, T. L. Hammond, L. A. M'Alistor, G. N. Cresswell, and C. Guy, to be sergeants.
The cup presented by the Camp Conrmandant. at Featherston for the btst kept, huts and lines has been awarded to the Thirty-fourth N.Z.F.A. for the week ended Saturday. October 27.
The Thirty-third Reinforcements (infantry) will, according to Featherston camp orders, go on final leave on November 8 and 9, instead of November 1 and 2 as originally arranged.
