RESOLUTIONS OF LOYALTY. By TelegrapK—Press Association. , Auckland, October '29. A representative meeting of the Jugo Slavs of the Auckland province, held/today, reaffirmed the loyalty of those present to Britain and the Allies, and resolved:— . . ys "That this meeting requests the tiovernment to retnovo the restrictions upon. .Tu"o Slavs in the matter of tho Zealand Expeditionary Force. "That the Government devise means whereby tho Jugo Slavs «"«/>■» tho Serbians at Salonika to t diioct against the national foes;_ that the Jugo Slavs are prepared and willing to devote all their energies to such essential industries or other works, as . u ' e ,? ll , m fIl2*1 l 2* Internal Affairs directs, but thnUll worl so done should be at same rate ot pay and under similar conditions a» tho-C pertaining to the Expeditionary Force. Tho meoting also passed a resolution expressing rccret that the Slavonic rcsidents of the Dominion should bo classed in tho same category ;:s the Central Powers, and strongly urging that. (he Government and the public should investigate their case exinir oxisting misunderstandings, anil ex lending the same rights and privileges as other Allied residents.
