MOVEMENTS OF TPiOOPS. The following is the movement of troops in (he Wairarana for tlio week ending November 3: —Thursday, Ist—-33rd Infantry (less E Company), commence going on final leave. Saturday, 3rd—3oth Mounted Kifles proceed to Papawai for musketry. The following temporary appointments have been approved by the Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Corpl. 11. L. ParroU, E Company, 33rd, to bo sergeant; Ptes. F. C. Jackson, A. P. Pulman, C. L. Wells, W. Hodgkinson, J. Munro, J. A. Keid, 6. Windram, JJ. A. Palmer A Gate, P. K. Willolt, E Company, 33rd, to be lance-corporals; Gunner N. A. M'Phee, 31th. N.Z.P.A., to be bombadier; Sergt. S. J. Kelly, 31st Specialists, to be quartermaster-sergeant; Sergt. ,T E. Tibbie, 32nd N.Z.F.A., to be quarter-master-sergeant; Corpl. ,T. T. Paterson, 32nd N.Z.F.A., to be sergeant. The following N.C.O.'s of the CI Instructional Staff have been promoted a* under (whilst employed on CI Headquarters Instructional Staff):—Sergt. A. F. M'Murtrie, to be sorgeant-ninjor; Sergt. A. C. Clements, to be quartermastersergeant; Corpls. E. I). Geddes, 0. C. Revell. A. Costelloe, N. V. Wotton, S. 11. Tolmie. to be sergeants. 'J'ho following n.c.o.'s and men of tl.o Thirty-first Specialist Company, Signal Section, having passed the prescribed tests, have been classified as trained signallers, and are entitled to wear (ho efficiencv badge:—L.-Cpls.
