FUTURE ACTIVITIES. The weekly meeting of the Central Executive of the Second Division league was held last evening, Mr. R. A. Armstrong' presiding. Correspondence was received from various parts of New Zea* land reporting that public meetings had been held, at which resolutions had been carried protesting against the inadequacy of the separation allowances proposed by Government for the dependants of soldiers, and lirging that same be reconsidered. Advice was received of the tormation of new leagues at »' averle y' Peilding, Xevin, Paeroa, and Thames, it was decided to prepare a' pamph.et containing advice to reservists and their dependants ■ regarding the various benefits they may be entitled to claim under the regulations for separation allowances, financial assistance, etc., and other matters connected with service. The various suburban committees reported having met with a good response to their canvass for members, the opinion being expressed that the future' usefulness, of the league as an organisation of advice and assistance to reservists and their dependants is now . fully recognised. Votes of thanks were earned to Messis. J E. Fitzgerald and P. R. Baillic for the use of motor-cars for the suburban meetings campaign.
