SCOTTISH HOME RULE
, MR. LLOYD GEORGE SAYS NOT YET (Rec. October 25, 8.30 p.ra.) London, October 25. Replying to a deputation from the Scotaeh Trade Union Congress, Mr. Lloyd George (the Prime Minister) said that ho was unable to contemplate the bringing in of a Scottish Home Rule Bill in wartime. "We have little time to deal with purely local provincial questions," lie said. The (iiflicnlty was .that Knjjland was such a preponderating partner that the English Parliament would bo so important that it would be a rival to the Imperial Parliament,—Aus.-N.Z.
