VICTIM OE U-BOAT PIRATE. (Eec. October 24, 8 p.m.) Madrid, October 23. Advices from Perrol show that a German submarine sank the Brazilian steamer Makan (6000 tons). The vessel was carrying a valuable cargo. Her captain was taken prisoner—Aus.-fc.Z. Cable Assn.
