Eliott and Co., Palmerston North, local agents), report on tho frozen meat market under date, London, as follows:— Home-grown.—Supplies moderate, being about 45 per ££nt. of- the total meat on Smithfield. Trade is quiet and prices weaker. Frozen.-Thc !onnai;o of the New Zealand and Australian lambs on Bmithflcld represents only 9 per cent, of the total meat, hence tho great demand for them.
