Sir,—Noticing a paragraph in your Issue of October 17, purporting to "give (the .substance of my address on "Morals nt the Front," permit me just to say that, like the eg;?, the report was "good an parts"; but, separated from the con. •test, tho i-eport gives quite an erroneous impression. I knew several honest agnostics, and certainly never held, any pc-rvice without enough practical Christian theology in it to transform any hian s character who would put it to the fast of experience.
