At the Police Court, Madame Bonnet tc wns sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment for fortune-telling', Madame Ilylnnd, also charged with fortune-tolling, was sentenced to fourteen days' imprisonment without hard labour. The defendant was fined on a similar charge in Hawera nine years ago. v
