NO SUPPLIES FROM AUSTRALIA. The Hon. Arthur Myers, Minister of Munitions, when 'approached in regard to tho presont position of white load supplies, stated that .he was hopeful some lime ago of relief being afforded to the Dominion by supplies being available from the Commonwealth of Australia, but he is now in receipt of advice from the Direbtor of Munitions, Melbourne, stating that it is regretted, owing, to' the impossibility of obtaining further supplies from GTeat Britain, and the threat-ened-serious shortage in Australia, that the exportation of Australian supplies of white lead to New Zealand is being refused for the time being.
