SOUTHERLY PREDICTED
Yesterday in Wellington was grey and gusty, a mild northerly driving battalions of low, heavy clouds across, the sky and setting up a rough sea in tho harbour. The rain was not far off, and' one or two drops fell during the afternoon. Showery weather was experienced on the West Coast and southern districts. Along tho East Coast thei weather has been fair and warm. Present indications aro for a change to the south shortly, with a, rising barometer, and colder weather.
