The Press Bureau states: Mr. Lloyd George has aent the following message to Sir Douglas Hnig:—"The War Cabinet desires to congratulate you and jour troops on +,lie achievements of the armias in Flanders during the great battle which has been raging since July 21. Starting from positions in which every advantage rested with the enemy, hampered by most unfavourable weather, you and your men nevertheless have continuously driven tho cneniy back with skill, courage, and pertinacitv, commanding the grateful admiration of the peoples of the Empire and filling the enemy with alarm.
