WAR LECTURE

Genuino help can be given the "Our Day" Red Cross appeal and the Blind Soldiers and Sailors' Fund by the purchase of tickets for the war lecture on "The Coming German Collapse," to be delivered by Mr. T. M. Wilford, M.P., at the Town Hall this evening nt 8 o'clock. Their Excellencies the GovernorGeneral and the Countess of Liverpool will bo present, and the lecture will b» under the 'patronage of the Prime Minister, tha Minister of Finance, and the Minister of Defence. His Worship the Mayor will preside. Tho Wellington Patriotic Society's band will play selections previous to the lecture. The booking office is now open at the Bristol.
