Jtossrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, roport that at their Levin sale on Tuesday they offered a largo yarding of sheep and a fair oaf of cattle. Buyers were present in force from outside districts, and competition was animated, good prices being obtained for all stock offering, and a total clearance being, made under the hammer. The bulk of the shtop entry consisted of 1800 hoggets, offered on account of the M/Donald Estate. These Fetched 335. for a line of 950; 4CO at 31s. Id.; 350 at 30s. 7d. Other prices were:—Fat wethers, , 425.; m.s. hoggets, 275. 4d. to 275. 9d.; cull hoggets, 18s. to 225. 6d.; 3-yeav steers, .613 155.; store cows, to £7 45.; yearling , heifers, to £4 55.; springing heifers, to J £9 7s. 6d.
