WAIRARAPA SHOW

Very good entries -for tho Wairarapa Show, to be held -at Carterton on October 24 and 25, havo been received, notwithstanding the difficulty experienced l.y many breeders in obtaining labour. The entries in the light horse and jumping clnsses include some of the best horses in the North Island. Draught horses are a very strong class, and include horses from Taraiiaki. Cattle entries include Herefords from Wairoa, and in all sections with the exception of fats will be very strong. Quite a number of new exhibitors are showing. Sheep classes are quite up to standard throughout. The exhibition of pigs will, it is said, be one of the best ever seen en the Carterton show grounds. The remaining sections of the show are expected to bo as good as usual. The 'exhibits of motorcars will be very- numerous. Late entries will bo taken until Wednesday next
