BOYS' INSTITUTE CLUB. At tho annual meeting of tho Institute Old Boys' Cricket Club,, tho annual report pointed out that tho third grade team had been successful, in winning the ohampiouship, and that although the senior men's team had not proved us successful as it might on account of so many members donning the khaki, yet from tlie club's point of view the season had been a very successful one. Mention was mado of the fact that Mr. L. Keys had' constituted a New Zealand record by securing the whole of the ten wickets iu one innings. The following officebearers were elected for the year:— Patrpn, Mr. R. E. Wood; president, Sir. U. A. Troup; viec-presidoiits, Messrs. 0. E. Brown, I). H. Mcnzies, T. Shields, J. M. -JLorice, L. T. Watkins, ,T. Ilislop, 1). K. llowitl, C. S. Moore, B. M'k'eiizie, (!. K. Dick, V. C. Atkinson, K, Rigarlsforrt, G. Lamb, Br. J. S. M'Laiirin; lion, secretary; Mr. .1. B. Hotvitt; delegate to W.C.A., Mr. J. B. llowitt; hon. treasurer. Mr. F. Cox; club captain. Mr. V. Ross; Management Committee, Messrs. If. Spolsky, A. M'Murtrie, J. D. Howitt, F. Cox, F. Ross,- hon. auditor, Mr. B. L. Zorn. There ia just a possibility that the club will again enter two teams, viz., 3rd srade and junior men's.
