MASTERTON NOTES

A man named Thomas Kelly, better known as Jack "Wilson, who shot himself in the head in a, wharo at Land's End gome timo ago, died at Masterton Hospital. An inquest was held, and a verilict returned that death resulted from iwounds self-inflicted. A Wellington Chinaman named .Too I'ay was fined JGIO at the Mojistrate's Court for sending liquor into a'/NoLicense district without notifying the 'same. During the last fp.iv days the Salvation 'Army has collected JE1124 in the Masterton district in its self-denial effort.
