YESTERDAY'S SITTINGS. 1 The Third Military Service- Board sat in the city yesterday. Mr. W. 11. S. Moorhouse is chairman of the board, and tho other members aro Messrs. A. O'L. Considino and Mr. J. Auld, clerk, Land and Deeds Office, AVellington; 11. Smith, clerk, Land and Deeds Office, Gisborno; and Frank O'Connor, Civil Servant, Wellington, wcro adjourned sino die. The Public Trustco appealed for P. C. Jordan, Civil Servant, Karori, and tho board granted an adjournment sine die. H-. H. Hunt, for whom tho City Corporation appealed, was given leave till January 7. . Porcy L. Konnedy, ironmouklcr, Jlataitai,'wa« appealed for by his employer, and an adjournment sino dio was made. An appeal by Pto. Thomas Curne, Thirty-third Keinforcomcnts, for leave to do certain farm work, was referred to the Canterbury Board. ' Leave till January was granted Vincent Mitchell, clork, wTio had been serving in tho Garrison Force. . William Alfred Flavell, warehouseman, annealed on the ground that he was a Second Division man.
