MEETING- OF CONTfIOL, ,Tho Wellington .Football Association met last ovening. II r. A. E. Wells presided, and others present wore Messrs. W. Auld, C. Webster, J>. Hill, E. Evann, F. O'DridColl, H. Yeoman, and A. Williams. Fourteen entries wero received from the schools and the sixth division for tho six-a-sido tournament: to be held on Saturday, week. JDntriet, for all other grades wore extended till Monday next. It. was decided that Ihe presentation' of cups and medals should bo made at a tocial on November 1. Tho folkming fixtures-arid grounds for Saturday next wero arranged:— Third Grade Final for Charity Cup.— Marist v, Inelitule, As-ocialiuii Park, 3 p.m'.; E. AVindley. , Fifth A Grade iSemi-Final Charity Cup. —South Wellington v. Marist, Association Park, 1.30; J. Ferguson. Institute, a bye. Tho winners will meet Inetitulo ' in tho final at 3.30 .p.m. ' Fifth Grade Final Charity Cup.—lsland Bay v. Institute, Association Park, 3 p.m.; W. M'JVrdle. ' Friendly.—lnstitiito Senior Cadets t. ' Wellington City Senior Cadcte, Aesociatio.n Park, 3. p.m.; W. Gibson. 'Schools' Semi-Final.—Marist N v. Porivua; H. Yeoman.
