Bγ Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, October 10. At Addington market there were again moderate yardings of fat stock and lorge entries of store cattle and dairy cows. There was an increase in the offering of store sheep and a good sale resulted, especially for wethers and hoggets which ehowed an advance. The fat cattle offerings were small,- and the quality moderate, and prices were firmer, values being equal to 565. to over COs. perloolb. A small yarding of fat lambs met vith a good sale. . Fat sheep were farmer, the yarding being, a moderate one, and included a number of Southland and North Otago lines, as well as the iust shorn sheep of,the season. The market was very firm, and prices for prime quality showed a little advance. There wag i very large yarding of store cattle, mostly made rip of two and three-year-olds and pens of oXy cows and heifers, but there were a few yearlings Ihers was a good clearance at late rates. Fat pigs were easier, as a local bacon-curer had secured a. supply of baconere from the North Island. Store pigs, on the other hand, were in strong demand. Dairy cows met with a good sale.
