BOILERMAKERS' DISPUTE. Tlie, Conciliation Council held a sitting' yesterday concerning the boilermakers' dispute. Mr. W. H. Hanger (Commissioner) presided. The employers had offered an increase of ivages to Is. 6d. per hour, and 14d. per hour war' tonus, but the employees' representatives said. that the union had decided not to accept that offer, and to stato Is. 9d. per hour as the minimum acceptable. The employers' representatives refused to accede this demand, and on the sulfation of the Commissioner the union representatives agreed' to place a further proposal before tho union.
