Tlie following letter appeared in the Petrograd newspaper "Novoe Vremya" on June 3 last:— Dear Sir,—Wo ask you to be sootl enough to insert this interrogatory notice in your pnner, viz.: Why do the leaders of the Lenin Jlovenient hide themselves beliind real Russian names? We soldiers ask, for instance, why the following gentlemen call themselves by Russian names instead of their real names, viz.: Slekloff. instead of Nahamkis. Zinovieff, instead of Apfelbaum. Troilzki, instead of Brnunschstoin. TvamiclT, instead of Rosenfeldt. Snehanoff, instead of Hiimner. Goveft. instead of Goldmann. , Me-skoffslci, instead of Goldenherg. Larin, instead of Lourie. We ask these eo-called Comrades, -why they are hiding their real names. We are waiting! It is significant that no explanation has been given. We are asking other papers to reprint this.
