THE PORT KEMBLA AFFAIR
DESERTER FROif TIIE VESSEL SENT TO GAOL. Melbourne, October 10. Kris Jensen, a. Russian, who was arrested on a charge of deserting , from the steamer Port Kenibla on September 12, has been sentenced to three months' imprisonment. Jensen joined tho vessel in England ae a greaser, and worked on board until she left the Australian port shortly before sho was blown up near, C'cofc Strait by an internal explosion.— Prces Assn.
