DEATH OF A CHILD FROM BURNS. By Telegraph—Press Association. ' Hawera, October 8. Esther' Alice Knapton, aged three years, 'died in the hospital late on Saturday ni"ht from injuries received by. burning. Her grandparent left the child in the house for a few minutes." Healing screams she returned, and found . the child's clothins in' flames, which she tingnished by wrapping the girl in ••» quilt. The coroner returned a verdict of accidental death.DEATH FROM INJURIES. Dunedin,' October 8. Jamos Douglas, of Athol, who was injured on tho railway at Dunedin station on Saturday evening, died this morning.
