HEMP AND TOW GRADING

A return showing the quantities of hemp, tow, and stripper slips graded at tBo ports of the Dominion during September shows that the total number of bales of hemp graded was 10,951, as compared with 11,109 for the corresponding period of' last year,, a decreaso of 158 bales.' For -the twelve months ended September 30,' the number of bales graded was 3431, as compared with 7044 for the previous twelve months, a decrease of 3610 bales.
