AEROPLANE CONSTRUCTION
TWENTY THOUSAND CONTRACTED FOR. Washington, October 5. The War Department has contracted for the construction of twenty thousand, aeroplanes, in accordance with the provisions of the GiO million dollars Aviation Bill. Aviators are'training in twentyfour centres. Mr. Baker, Secretary for War, stated that tho Allios intend to set up an international standardisation of aeroplane supplies.—Aus.-N.fr!. Cable Assn.
