Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having hold their fortnightly sale at the Upper Hutt on Thursday, when they offered a good yarding of cattle, and a, small entry of choice fat sheep. There was a good demand, and with tho , exception of backward springing heifers.t a. clearance was effected. They quote:— v Fat wethers,'44s. Id.; fat ewes, 415.; prinio fat hoggets, 41s. to 44a. j three-year steers, £13 to £13-10s.; three and a. half-year bullocks (low condition), £12; one and a. halfyear steere, to £9 25.; yearling steers, £6 10s. to £6 25.; empty forward heifers, to £9 Is.; empty store cows, to £8 10s.; empty heifers, to £6 155.; yearling heifers, to £4 17s. 6d.: springing heifera, to £10 5b.; young bulls, to £9; light hack, £3 ss.
