CONCILIATION COUNCIL
IRON' MOULDERS' DISPUTE SETTLED. The Wellington Iron and Brass Moulders' Dispute was heard by the Conciliation Commissioner (Mr. W. H. Hagger) yesterday, and a complete agreement was arrived at. The wages of journeymen moulders are to .bo increased from Is. (id. per hour to Is. 7Jd. per hour, and the wages 'f machine moulders from Is. 3d. per hour to Is. .fid. per hour. There is to be a -17 hours week (as before). The award will apply to the whole of tho Wellington industrial district. It will come into force on October H, and remain in force lor two years. The employers were represented at the conference by Messrs. W. Crabtree, D. Robertson, junr., and A. C. Mitchell. Mr. H. F. Allen was agent for tho employers. The union representatives wero Sfessrs. J. Ferguson (Wellington), ,T. W. Hull (Christchui'ch), and A. H. Philip (Auckland). After the silting both sides complimented tho Commissioner on the success of his efforts to bring about ti satisfactory settlement.
