MILITARY SERVICE BOARD

YESTERDAY'S APPEALS. The Third Wellington Military Service Board sat in the city yesterday. Mr. W 11. S. Moorbouse presided, and with him were Messrs. A. O'D. Considine and Mr. M. J. Hack. Captain P. Baldwin represented the military authorities. , The appeals of the following reservists were dismissed:— Henry H. Waring, painter, Gordon. Streete Lewis P. Ante, painter, Ingestre Srcet (leave till NoV-. ember U); Wm. J. Oakshott, member of Plymouth Brethren, Upper Hutt (recommended for service with the Medical Corps). \ , A three months' adjournment was granted in the' case of Oscar A. Browne, factory manager; of Upper Hutt, who ,was married and had two brothers vvtu the Forces. , ~ , A number of 'appeals were adjourned, pending medical examination of the reservists.
