MILITARY HOSPITALS
Sir,—Knowing the fact that our eoU diers, after admission into the military, hospitals in New Zealand, are ois* mantled of all their belongings, including money, etc., I would like to esß those in authority how these eoldief patients Are to obtain stamps to enable them to communicate ' with their re* latives. Certainly the Y.M.C.A., other institutes, provide writing material in abundance, but there is the necessary pe.nny stamp wanting:. I have heard the) patients eay, "I cannot write home; t have no stamps." Surely our hospitals could be furnished with an official stamp and thus save our boys the unpleasantness of having to beg or borrow a stamp to post a letter .home. Trusting tbia matter will receive attention.—l au)< etc., MOTHER. October 1, 1917.
