' Meanwhile enormous war prohls are being made. On the one hand wlalst the prices of the necessaries of life a:e going up by leaps «nd bounds, ™ge»iemain stationary, consequently tie sundard of life is still declining. Many aiticles of food and clothing are being replaced' by inferior goods in less quantities and the struggle for'.existence glows keener and keener.. In many cases men with families-are unable to obtain tue necessaries of life for growing cludren or .to make both ends meet.. AVe Uierefore demand that Parliament assembled immediately take the necessary steps to definitely fix the prices of food and clotliing, within the limits of our wages or increasing our wages by the amount required to purchase those articles.
