The Finance Act, 1917. was the subject of a lecture dclivored last evening before a large attendaqcß of members of the Wellington Accountant Students Society by-Mr. K. ..!..-. R.. Gumming, FI'4..N.Z; (of the Laud and. .Income Tax .Department). Mr. Gumming esplnined the various provisions ot the .Act relating lo land and income tax.
