■ ■ .STATU OF THE FUND. ' The annual report of tlio Public Serrice Superannuation Board was presented'to tho House of Representatives last niglit by tho Hon. G. W. Russell. During 1016 the-incomo of tho Superannuation Fund amounted to .£231,000, the principal items on tho revenue sido being members* contributions *£140,120, State contribution < interest -842,314. The number of contributors to tho fund.at tho end of last year was 13,313, and the number of pensions and allowances payable was 1233, representing an annual charge of, ,£88,392. The total amount of tho accumulated funds is .£896,508. ' . '
