WRECKS ENEMY'S COMMUNICATIONS / London, September 28. •An Italian official report states: "Our airmen, aiming at interrupting railway traffic on the Bazza Valley, caused tho destruction of railway plant at l'odberba (? Podgoree). The bombarding squadron reached Pola, and effectively bombarded the arsenal, and also a submarine base at Qlivi Island. The aviators dropped three tons of explosives—Aus.N.Z. Cable Assh.-Reuter. FIGHTING IN MONTE SAN GABRIELLE London, September 29. An Italian official report states: "We have rectified our line between Sella DidoL and tlie northern slopes of Monte San Gabrielle, and maintained our position notwithstanding repeated counter-attacks."—Aus.-N.
