DESTROYING THE ENEMY'S FOOD STORES (Rec. September 2", 7.50 p.m.) London, September 27. An official report from East Africa states: "The mounted troops have destroyed all the enemy's food depots between the Obomukura River and the Kilwali Water Road nearing Mangantt, and an important supply centre south-east, of Liwalo. We engaged the Germans -' at il'tua, south-west of Lindi. Fighting ia progressing. We dispersed a company which wis attempting to cross the Luvoga lliver, and inflicted severe losses."—Aus.N.Z.
