"I don't suppoee any Second Division man will go into camp before the end of January, I hope not before tho end of February," said Sir James Allen to a Second Division deputation yesterday. "If they go into camp in February they will not leave Now Zealand until June, reaching England in August. I don't, know what you think, gentlemen, but I have a firm conviction that by the ond of June we shall know wlio is going to win this war. I have a firm hone (hat. wo shall never havo to send from New Zealand moro than the first class of tho Second Division, and I.hope we shall not have to send even them." (Applause.)
