The mine ma-nager's report, dated September 22, states:—"During the -week the following work has been in progress:— North, cj the main 'crosscut'tho drive on the reel was extended 2 feet. We crosscut'ted into the footwall 51ft., the reef is Bft. wide. Wc are now crosscutting in the hanging-wall country, and are in 13ft. There Is' a strong flow of water from tbi« face. In the south end stoping has been in progress, and a fair amount of ore Is being -won." :
