DISCLOSURES
ARGENTINA AFLAME
PREPARING FOR WAR
The latest sensation from K-ussi a—<the "Korniloff ' affair"—continues to absorb the public's interest. According to to-day's dispatches, Kerensky would seem to be in a very dubious position. The Socialists are silent and suspicious. The news from the battlefront states that the Russians on the Eija line hare gained ground, inflicting heavy losses on the Germans. In the Western thoatre there are no material developments, local actions and artillery duels being the principal features. According to the German war correspondents, ffaig's latest attack was a "gargantuan affair," in which the German losses were terrible. The only development on the Italian front is the bursting of a big Austrian mine without securing any military advantage. A severe Wow has been dealt at the enemy's plans for the attack on Bagdad by a-destructive- fire whioh destroyed lingo stores of war supplies. The popular excitement in. Argentina over the German-Swedish disclosures still runs high. The mobilisation of the sea.and land forces is in progress.
