By Telegraph—Press Association. 1 Christchurch, September 20. .4 total of dC1457 Is. 9d., covering a period of M yews, was involved in eight charges of theft and fraudulent conversion that were preferred in thes Magistrate's Court to-day against Alfred Ernest Craddock, land agent, Christchurch, whose recent bankruptcy caused considerable public interest. Accused was committed for trial on all the charges, bail being allowed, self in -.£SOO and- two sureties of .£SOO each.
