AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHIC SOCIETY
At the annual meeting: < of the above society tho report aud' balance-aneet submitted showed that tho society is in a sound state inimericully and financially, notwithstanding the difficulties of carrying on during the war. The membsrsnip no«- stands at 71, as against 43 of last year. This progress, is attributed mainly to the success exhibition held last March. The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted aa follows:—President, Mr. P. M. Benton; vice-presidents, Messrs. B. W. White, Geo. Gregg, ClauJe ■Tones, W. S. La Trobe, J. E. Ellis, and J.
