PARLIAMENT
YESTERDAY'S SITTINGS The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. yesterday. The Sale of Liquor Restriction Bill was read a first time, read a second time pro forma, and referred to the Statutes Revision Committee. The Public Trust Act Amendment Bill was read a first time, and a second time, and set down for committal to-day. The Military Service Act Amendment Bill was read a h'r&t and »ffc down, for second -reading to-day. The Aliens Registration Bill was put through Committee, rend a third t:me ; and passed. The Council adjourned at 2.45 p.m., -until 2.30 p.m. to-day.. ,
