A SUCCESSFUL RAID \ (Eec. September 24, 7.45 p.m.) London, September 23. A British official report from Salonika states: "We expelled an enemy, detachment from Kiunli, north-west'of Seres." A French Eastern communique states: "A French detachment, co-operating with Essad Pasha's Albanians, successfully raided the Skumbi Valley, inflicting heavy losses on the, Austrians."— A<is.-N.Z. The "Daily Mail" states that von Falkenhayn is at Aleppo. He is making plans to retake Bagdad, and contain the Britieh army in Palestine. Transport is his. ohief problem. The Turkish nrmy is still formidable, and tho Kussian aid from Persia is not reliable.—United Service. , ;
