Melbourne, September 20. The War Profits Tax Bill has been Tead a third time in the Senate.—Press Association. (Reo. September 20, 10.45 p.m.) . Melbourne, September 20. The House of Representatives .has agreed to a super tax of 25 per cent, on the income tax. Tho Government amended the proposals with regard to the repatriation tax to provide that single, mon and wido-vors over 21 without children shall pay vearly, or 5 percent, on tho incom}--Vhicliever is the greate-. The only exemptions will be men who have enlisted, those where tho majority of their brothers are serving, and old-age pensioners. —Press Association.
