1 FORECAST AND SUMMARY AT 4 P.M. YESTERDAY. Present indications are- for strong northerly winds northwards of Rawhia and Bast Oape, and westerlies to southerlies elsewhere.- Expect squally, changeable, and showery weather. Baromeler unsteady. A westerly depression has ruled southwards of, tho Dominion, but a high barometer has persisted in the north. Northerly and westerly winds, strong: to gale, havo predominated, and tho weather has been gloomy generally, and boisterous in the southward of Oook Strait, with rain in many parts. D. 0.
