CHEESE STORE CHARGES

, - NEW REGULATIONS CONFIRMED. •At a special meeting'of the Wellington Harbour Board held yesterday. after■noon the additional by-laws concerning - cool 6tore charges for cheese were con- - firmed. The principal charges referred' to are set.in the new.by-law as follow:— (a)' Cheese, etc.," received from rail or -. town for grading prior to shipmont: •Labour receiving and delivering at etore - door, labour involved in grading under direction of Government grader, and -. storage not exceeding fourteen nights, Bs. -3d. per ton. ' - • Additional 000 l storage: For second, •third, and fourth fortnights,' per fortnight. or. fractional part of a fortnight, •6s. per ton. For fifth" and every subsequent fortnight, per ; fortnight or frac- ■ tional ipart.of a fortnight, 4s. per ion. - (b) Cheese, etc., landed ex vessels for grading prior- to transhipment: Labour • receiving snd delivering at store door, -labour involved in grading under airec- - lion of Government grader, and fourteen nights' cool storage, which, however, ehall be inclusive of the seven nights' storage allowed for in transhipment charge, 7s. 3d. per ton. Additional cool storage: For second ■ third, and fourth fortnights, per fortnight or fractional part of a fortnight, 6s. per ton.' For fifth and every subsequent fortnight, per'fortnight or fractional part of a fortnight, 4s. per ton.
