EVANS BAY SWIMMING CLUB
There was a satisfactory attendance at 'the annual general meeting of the Evans Bay Swimming Ciub on .Monday. Mr. C. Bott presided. The balance-sheet showed tjiat the club is now in a very satisfactory position, its assets, amounting to .£O9 is. l!)d., including .£23 Is. lOd. cash in hand. The election of officers resulted as under:—Patron, the Mayor (Mr. J. P. Luke, C.M.G.); president, Mr. A. IT. Jlindmaish, M.P.; vice-presidents, Messrs. R. H. Wilson, A. George, G. E. Fownds, I'. J. Caterer, J. M'Namara, Evans, Armstrong, P. Eason, Leversham, Johns, Lawrence, Crengel, Basil Cooper, Dr. PlattsMills, Mr. J. Castle, Dr. liemp, Dr. Newman, 'Messrs. P. M'Parland, and Worboys; secretary, Mr. J. J. Martin; treasurer, Mr. G. Harris 6; committee, Messrs. Withers, Compton, Allen, B. Ayliag, Gibblin, Mesdames Bott, Martin, Boshor, Harriss, Ayling, and Messrs. Bott, Ifeavey, Flannigan, I'. J. Wilson, Andrewartha, H. Wilson, A.
