: FOUND DEAD IN HBD. By Telcerauh—Press Association. Palmerston North. September 17. An elderly man named John "William Jonos was found dead in. bed at a local boardinghouso this morning. . TWO BOYS DROWNED. Invercargilt, September 17. Two boys, named Duncan }!ell and Leslie Guthrie, both aged, eix, were drowned at Avenel to-day. They were playing in a boat, when they noticed the tide . was beginning to rise. They got out cf the bout, but the flow of the water was evidently too much for them, both being d i owned.
