LADIES' ASSOCIATION. The only game played on Saturday was that between. Ramblers A and Wellington Girls' College A, the two leading team 9 for the senior championship. In tho firrt spoil Ramblers rushed play right from the bully-off, but good defence by College backs saved. Ramblers' forwards, playing with great dash, broke down the defence, and Alias Williams 6cored the first goal for her side. College, playing well, reached Ramblers' circle, but could not score. Ramblers, playing well together, enabled Miss Williamson to 'add another goal upon, the call of half-time. Ramblers opened the second half well, and Miss Lang scored. Shortly after Miss Williams 6cored her third goal. College, playing with better enn-bina-tion, soon had play in Ramblers' quarters, and Miss Marchbanks notched the first goal. Within a few minutes Miss Wilkins added another goal for Ramblers, while from a nice forward rush Miss S. M'Kenzie scored for College. Just before the call of time, Miss Marchbanks again scored for College. The game end- ■ ed in favour of Ramblers by five to three. Mr. A. W. Manning was .referee. Men's Game. A matoh was played between a team from Trentham and a WeUington' team, the Trentham team winning by one goal to nil.' Mr. Manning had charge of the game. Ladies' Rep. Match. - The Wellington Ladies' Hockey Associa- . tion have decided to send a team to Christehurch this week. They play Otago on Friday,.September 21, and Canterbury on Saturday, September 22. jbe-ttara will leaw here on Wednesday night, and will arrive back here on Sunday morning.
