EXTRAORDINARY PROPOSAL
HUGE TRADE CORPORATION IN TEE • AIR. London, September It. Tho newspapers reveal an extraordinary proposal for tho formation of what is called the British Corporation, with A capital of a thousand millions, to develop and distribute the Empire's produce under a system of co-partnership with Labour. Lord Willou'ghby De Broke Invited a number of guests to a dinner at the Savoy to hear the syndicate's project. No names were given, but several leading men were given prominence, on the dinner list, including Mr. Lloyd Gooige, and Brigadier-General A. C. Gedri.es (Minister for National Service), both of whom have since denied their acceptance of the invitation. The scheme is not connected with the British Trade Corporation or the Empire Resources Development Committee.—Aus.N.Z. Cablo Assn.
